1. Tailored to the School Syllabus
Lessons are designed to follow the school syllabus. We have learning checkpoints to ensure that your child achieves a critical level of understanding for each learning milestone. A deeper understanding of the syllabus also helps your child become more interested in learning as they reach new epiphanies in conceptual understanding. We understand from parents that many centres take a blanket approach towards their students and primary students are allocated class times based on schedule. At Crucible, we are taking the approach that has succeeded at the Secondary and Tertiary level and applying to our Primary Programme. This revolutionary approach to Primary Education will help our students better understand the topics they are taught at school and in turn, gain better mastery over their requisite syllabus.
2. Fostering Independent Learning
Give a man a fish. Beyond the PSLE lays an entire lifetime of learning. As your child proceeds to secondary school, the academic requirements required of him increases substantially. We inculcate a sense of self-responsibility during lessons through our self-review system. By teaching your child now just what to know but how to, we attempt to build the best possible foundation for his or her future. Our lessons incorporate a ‘Self-Review’ aspect. By encouraging your child to take stock and responsibility for his or her own learning, we realise that they naturally become more pro-active in their grades. Our educators continuously facilitate and promote your child’s independent learning by reviewing their ‘Self-Reviews’ weekly.
3. Demanding a Broader Perspective
Lessons do not only come from the textbook. We generate ideas in students by fostering thinking students. We have incorporated aspects of our Secondary ‘Language Arts’ Programme and JC ‘General Paper’ Programme into our Primary Programme. In ‘Language Arts’ and ‘General Paper’, students are expected to have knowledge outside the syllabus and are taught to justify their thoughts with evidence. Similarly, we explore contentious issues like Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence in our Primary Programme by linking it to the respective subject syllabuses. By doing so, we pique the interest of your child and hope to groom a thinking learner. For our English classes, we facilitate class debate to allow your child to build confidence in speaking and articulating his thoughts in a coherent manner. Through applying technical skills like grammar and sentence structuring, we are confident that students can better learn and remember the proper way.

Life is full of ups and downs. Through resilience, comes breakthrough. We hope to inspire a winning mentality in every child through encouragement and goal-setting. Students are encouraged to set their academic goals which our teachers follow up on with them. By facilitating your child to set the actionable steps he or she needs to achieve their targets, it breeds a winning mentality crucial for life’s journey. We take pride in our ‘Break through your limits’ exercise with our Primary Students. Every term, our educators do goal setting with your child and help map their individual game plans to achieve their targets. Our students look forward to this exercise and take it seriously. We celebrate our student’s success and encourage them to pick themselves up after failure. This creates a focused yet enjoyable learning environment for your child.

Our team of educators comprise of NUS graduates. Having gone through Singapore's arduous education system, they have experienced first-hand the difficulties that students face. Fiercely passionate about education, they left the legal industry to teach full-time. Collectively, thousands of students have been under their wing and have gone on to achieve stellar success, both academic and otherwise.
